been putting off getting a new intercooler for a while. finally got in on a good group buy and bought a CCA fmic. $340 shipped.
on the srt-4 you have to remove the front bumper brace, so i bought a new brace.. it’s not going to do any good, it’s just to link the two fronts of the frame. it’ll be here monday, but i couldn’t wait to get the intercooler in. took it for a test drive, and i swear, i got a ton of hp. in high boost, in second gear, at 40mph, i can easily break the tires loose. i didn’t try 3rd.. but i’m pretty sure i could do the same thing. i really wanna get it dyno’d now. last time i dyno’d 260whp, 301wtq.
i was also able to install a new foglight bulb thats kind of a pain in the ass to get to. and i also ordered a new front badge.. it’ll go in when it gets here too. mine is silver, not brushed

i’m such a wuss. i always have been. i tear up and movies, and sometimes a commercial. i tear up when i think of my brothers fighting for my country. i tear up when i’m sick.
i was reading dad’s blog a minute ago and it reminded me of something i havn’t thought of in years.
when we were kids, mom would come in and kiss us goodnight. i don’t remember saying bedtimes prayers.. maybe once or twice. we did say something, that when i just remembered, made me tear up.
"night-night. sleep tight. love you lots. see you in the morning. pleasant dreams. god bless you. have a nice sleep."
i have no idea where it came from, or when we started saying that. i’m suprised that i even remember all the words.
i remember now, saying it with mom, and just trying to get through it as fast as i can just so it’s over. i hate myself for doing that. or pretending i was already asleep when she came in. i can play it off due to the fact that i was a kid, and thats what kids do… but i still hate that i did that.

i finally got my group buy CCA front mount intercooler the other day. the welds look good, and the whole thing looks good.. except.. there are a couple dents. thankfully they are on the top and bottom and i don’t even think they will be visible once mounted. i also don’t think it will affect the functionality.

dave and i went and saw saw 2 tonight. i really liked it. there wasn’t as much gore as the first one, if i remember the first one correctly. but there were definatly some gross scenes. even one or two that made *me* squirm [the eyeball!]. if you liked the first one, watch this one.
